Founder and Managing Partner
Jesse Sells founded Steel Root Capital after a career as a capital advisor and deal originator across commercial real estate, energy infrastructure, and emerging digital infrastructure. His real estate experience includes multifamily, manufactured housing, historic adaptive reuse, and ranch acquisitions.
Before founding Steel Root, Jesse served as an ISR NCO with Air Force Special Operations Command, with Arabic language proficiency and operational experience across the Middle East and North Africa. The discipline and judgment developed in that work continue to shape how the firm evaluates risk, communicates decisions, and stands behind its commitments.
